Sandra is a geologist and Associate Professor, formerly at the School of Earth Sciences at the University of Melbourne, with broad interests and research experience in understanding the evolution of the continental crust. She is a teaching and research academic who has been on a teaching specialist secondment for the past two years. Her first love is Proterozoic lithospheric processes but she is also interested in thermal regimes, fold and thrust belt evolution, argon thermochronology and basin evolution, including Neogene climatic change in Australia.
